D'Onofrio is the most loved ice cream brand in Peru. A brand that has been following generations for 120 years with a strong connection with consumers, always bringing family and friends together, especially during the summer.
We believe in bringing up the energy of D’Onofrio, reminding the consumers and the new generation of Peruvians of the brand core essence, reinforcing its connection with consumers, just like such a beloved brand should do.
The inspiration for the brand revamp came from its central and most known elements: its triangular letters, which contrary to what can be imagined, represent the letter "O".
The sun is the starting point for the brand's new storytelling, from where the energy that unites everyone emanates. Its rays were also inspired by the triangular element of the lettering which, together with other geometric shapes, create the flare effect that reaches the brandmark. D'Onofrio's photographs follow the same principle, with product images always in perspective and with triangular shadows creating a unique and simple style. All the storytelling and elements were built from a single-minded inspiration – the “O” shape lettering – in order to create a new meaning and update the brand's story in a strong and compelling way.
The work goes across different corporate touchpoints, where the attention to the details and the respect for D 'Onofrio's essence was key.
