Innovation for all
Innovation process involving all company stakeholders, encompassing several locations and multiplying knowledge
Food - Citrosuco
Citrosuco is a 100% Brazilian company, whose figures are impressive: it is present in more than 100 countries, employs 5,000 people, owns 28 farms and is the largest producer of concentrated orange juice in the world, holding 45% of the Brazilian market and 25% of the world market. It produces 100% natural juice and takes full advantage of the orange processed. To keep its leading position, the company knows it must constantly keep up with emerging trends and market opportunities.
To cope with the fast pace of changes, the company set the goal of spreading the innovation culture throughout all levels. And the CBA B+G team worked hard to achieve that goal.
To foster the innovation culture in the company, our strategy team applied our methodology to develop the ideal innovation process for the company, considering the company’s organizational skills, understanding its operational routine, key challenges and opportunities.
Using our methodology, we trained Citrosuco’s staff to increase their innovation capabilities, teaching them to transform daily information into opportunities and ideas to solve different business challenges.
We reached impressive figures, as grand as the company: we ran innovation workshops with more than 1,200 people, almost a quarter of the company’s employees, covering all areas – from the CEO to the orange pickers. We totaled more than 250 hours of training in 10 different locations, visiting plants, farms and offices in Brazil and abroad.
The workshops, organized by area, have generated more than 3,500 new ideas for processes, products and internal and external improvements. Under the guidance of our methodology, almost 300 final ideas were selected and presented to the company board. As part of the Project, a meritocracy program to reward the most engaged employees was created, generating more ideas to solve business challenges.
Through a structured and comprehensive program, the company was enticed to change the way it looked at the business, being open to new offers and ways of doing business, encompassing people, processes and products.
