The perfect combination of Nestlé chocolate covered wafer bar, first produced in 1935, is a craze among Choco lovers worldwide, and in Brazil is no different. KitKat’s presence in the Brazilian market has grown significantly in the last years with the launch of new varieties, flavors and formats.
To strengthen the brand relationship with the target consumer, Nestlé opened an exclusive KitKat pop-up store at Shopping Morumbi, in Sao Paulo.
The grand Project was developed by an exclusively devoted team from CBA B+G who created and designed the more than 50 different packages found in the shop, where some imported products, brought from different countries, can also be found.
Among the novelties, consumers find 18 large transparent tubes in the center of the shop, each with a different flavor of the mini 2 fingers KitKat. This selection was named “Pick & Mix”, and our challenge was to determine which 18 colors would allow a clear identification of the flavors in the tubes, combined with a modern 3D design of the appetites.
The “Pick & Mix” flavors selected by KitKat fans can be taken home in one of the 4 thematic Bonbonniere Boxes, in bags or in a red standard KitKat tin box, whose lid can be customized with a name print chosen by the consumer.
KitKatlovers will also find premium gift theme boxes, with finishing works that highlight the design details, in the versions “I Love...”: fruits, dark, Brazil, gringos, nuts, drinks, among others. Each one has an assortment of 4 new flavors, different from the ones found in the tubes, and that relate to the theme of the box.
The interactive “Vessel” product line draws a lot of attention; consumers can choose how to assemble the KitKat bar, selecting the flavor of the boat-shaped finger, as well as the filling and topping. There’s an open grab & go package, for the ones that can’t wait to taste it and a specially designed package, inspired on the flavors of the available fillings and toppings, for the ones that decide to eat it later or want to buy it as a gift. Ready vessels, with combinations chosen by Chocolatory are also available in black packages with details in gold. Another novelty is the “Digital Printing” line, where an image or text can be printed on a white 4Finger KitKat. It’s a whole lot of innovations brought by KitKat to fit into Chocolatory!
